首先小贾同学来温哥华了，非常高兴，虽然人还没见着，不过下个礼拜回家，快了快了！

 

接着，one week off from work，上班了才知道holiday有多宝贵！

 

然后，下周日去seattle shopping! Coach, Burberry,CK......的直销店，挣钱是用来干什么的！！

 

再然后，刘靖的生日，意大利菜挺好吃，DQ的蛋糕也挺好吃

 

再再然后，热情列庆祝晶晶同学回归祖国，新生活开始了！

 

再再再然后，坐了一次Brad Pitt 拍“The Assassination of Jesse James ”做过的火车，Fort Edmonton Park挺好玩，推荐大家去转转。

 

最近高兴的事儿不少

 

It has been a while. This summer, working for a month by now, and next week i am sent to head office engineering department for training. Very exciting! Tones of appreciation to Maggie for helping me get the job.

 

I guess summer is the best season in a year. Wonderful things always happen in the summer, for me, and i hope for everybody.

 

 

 

 

 

I wish i could be there with you since the moment i was told you are going to get married. I wish you nothing but live happily ever after! You said the way i lectured you sounds like your mother, that is because i love you as much as your mother does! Happy wedding day!!

It was a dramatic day today. First time went to hospital emergency this afternoon. My dad fell off from a ladder at work and sends to the emergency at Richmond Hospital. It wasn’t a long waiting time at the emergency if you compare it with the waiting time at New Zealand Hospital. He had broken bones at left wrist. I went inside the operation room with him and doctors for translation. There were 6 people working together to make my dad’s bones in the left wrist back to the position that they supposed to be. He was given some medication to put him into sleep during the operation. One nurse was holding some emergency equipment and just in case of any emergencies. Another nurse was controlling the dose of the medication and monitoring the condition of my dad. Two other doctors brought a huge portable x-ray machine to my dad’s bed. One doctor and her assistant were working together to put the bones back. The doctor put all her weight to pull my dad’s hand and her assistant was trying to push the bones back. They used the x-ray machine to check the position of the bones and I was asked to step back because of the radiation. It was a pretty scary process for me to watch  and he wasn’t completely unconscious and his body was trying to move. The whole operation took 20 minutes but he took 40 minutes to fully awake from the medication. Then there was another one hour long waiting to get the second time x-ray. The film showed that the operation was pretty good and all the bones are back to the right positions. The doctor gave him some medication for the pain and we finally arrived home at 11pm.

 

It is a tough job!! I admire doctors!
